interlude

I’m a little stranded in Virginia this week, waiting on a car rental, staying with family, fighting a cold, thinking a lot.

I hope your weekend was wonderful. Leave me a note. Tell me what you did…

I will be back when I can.

Hope you are able to kick that cold. Ever tried zinc lozenges? Sometimes they help me. Matthew and I spent the weekend in Montreal Canada (my belated Christmas gift). It was fun, but quite chilly. Enjoy Virginia this week. :-)

Hey you…I hope you are able to feel better soon!! My weekend was a full one: family came in from Iowa for a visit (2 adults and 4 kids…to go with the 2 adults and 5 kids already living here…), Saturday was a wedding, Sunday was church and a bbq at the in-loves with ALL the family (fifty sumptin people). A full, fun and much loved weekend to say the least. Hoping you get home soon…but sending you some Sunny CA hugs…

Hope things get back on track soon! Feel better… take advantage of not having to be anywhere :)
We’ve been in Florida w/ my parents the past week. Loving it, but so ready to go home on Wednesday to the husband and my bed. We’ve headed to Key Largo three days, they’re a half an hour away… and the others were spent at the pool. Not much to complain about, but it’s so hard to be away from Lucas, you know?
    Again, feel better…

Hope you get unstranded and feeling better soon. I threw out my back on Friday…it was a weekend of laying low. A gift in disguise?

I love your photographs…they are so restful.

    Gorgeous photo!

Virginia isn’t a horrible place to be stranded. I’m in Lynchburg. What part of the state are you in?

    love the photo, Kelly.
I want to be stranded in it.

The weekend was mostly cold and blustery soccer .
and some homemade cards. and some decision making. All good.

Hey there, Kelly! We spent the weekend in Jackson, MS, for Robert’s college graduation — it’s mindboggling to think that he *started* college after my graduation! So a great weekend of celebration and seeing family.

I’m up in Floyd – if I was in Lynchburg, I’d have been able to get home by now. :-) They have car rental places available… :-P

Florida sounds warm – we came north and got cool, and I can’t say how lovely it was to come back to spring from a city that is heading into summer. It is so lovely-cloudy today that I just want to rest and enjoy it, even though I was supposed to be driving home today. I do miss Pete, though. I so get your home-longing. Thanks for saying hello! I was thinking of you yesterday!

Hullo, Bina! It’s been a while! You had an amazing weekend, didn’t you! Thank you for sharing – I’m so amazed you all left me notes!

I’m enjoying it. It’s a perfect cloudy VA day… I’m taking the zinc and drinking like a fish. the cold’s not that bad – just annoying. ;-) I’ll be looking for pictures from Canada at your place!

Mindboggling indeed. My parents had friends in from Illinois this weekend, friends we knew when I was younger than my youngest brother. Their BABIES are taller than I am with changing voices and college attendance and wow. I am feeling old.

Can anyone be stranded in Virginia? I don’t think so. Think of it more like Virginia inviting you to stay a while.

what a sweet photo. the lighting is so soft and inviting.

sorry you are stuck, and even worse… sorry you are sick. i hope you are soon on the mend.

let’s see… i just took it easy over the weekend. caught up on some things, watched a couple of movies, talked to my mama on mother’s day and blogged. relaxing weekends with nothing to do are so nice to have every once in a while. i hope you had a good one… i trust you were visiting your mom? hope you had a nice time, if so.
